Love in Colorado

We recently went to Co. for my sister in laws wedding. The whole family got to go so needless to say, we had a great time. Love was definetely in the air, but not just between the bride and groom. I could sense that everybody had fallen in love with this new state, and how could you not? A drive to Target turned into one of the most beautiful rides I have ever been on. Simply being outside and just being made you feel so content. I know I definetely fell in love with nature that weekend in a way I never have. It is amazing how simply but specifically nature is beautiful. Nothing without a purpose. Its pure. I loved it because you really got a sense of who God was in those moments you were outdoors, hiking in the mountains, looking at beautiful trees and flowers and mountainsides. You got a sense of how we are supposed to live. Not wrapped up in our 9-5 jobs, not concerned with the latest fashion, getting the newest car and hearing all the latest gossip. It is so easy to lose sigh of God in our lives when we live that way. But when you are surrounded by his beauty in all directions, how can you not slow down and just live? ..Thats what I want..

..Here are some photos from our trip and others that I felt captured a glimpse of Colorados essence..

Today.

Today is one of those lazy days where I have enjoyed nothing more than staying in my pajamas until 12:30. Eating a bowl of cereal quickly followed by none other than Kraft macaroni and cheese. I have also watched way too much cruddy television, which I also enjoyed way too much. I hope that you can be patient with me as I continue to design my blog and discover how to pour my guts out on here;)
